Best Product Feedback and Roadmap Tools in 2026: 5 Tools Compared on What the Billing Meter Reveals

Pricing data as of Nov 7, 2026 - verify current rates on the official site before purchase
Five tools that all claim to help you decide what to build next, and four different meters under them. One charges per tracked user, one charges a flat rate for unlimited users, one charges per product manager, one charges per workspace member with read-only seats free, and one gives away the first ten people and bills the eleventh. The meter is the honest part of the pricing page.
1. Canny: You Pay for How Many People You Listen To
Canny is a feedback board with a public roadmap attached, aimed squarely at SaaS teams who need to close the loop between a feature request and a changelog entry.
Pricing: Free is $0 with 25 tracked users, unlimited posts and automatic feedback capture. Core starts at $19 per month billed yearly with 100-plus tracked users, custom domains and content translations. Pro starts at $79 per month billed yearly and adds product management integrations and advanced privacy. Business is custom, starting around 5,000 tracked users, with SSO and CRM integrations. Yearly billing saves up to 20 percent.
Where it falls short: A tracked user is anyone associated with feedback, so the 25-user ceiling on the free plan is reached quickly by any product with real traffic - it is designed for evaluation, not for a live board. You can set a spend limit, but if you do not, Canny upgrades you automatically when you pass the threshold, which is a bill that arrives without a decision.
2. Nolt: A Flat Rate for Unlimited Everything Except Boards
Nolt is the simplest of the five: a suggestion board, voting, statuses and a roadmap, with no attempt to become your project tracker.
Pricing: Essential is $29 per month, or $348 billed annually, and includes one board with custom fields, custom statuses, private boards, a roadmap, JWT-based SSO, and Slack, Discord, GitHub and Trello integrations. Pro is $69 per month, or $828 billed annually, raising it to five boards and adding password protection, domain restrictions, moderation filters, and Zapier, Make, Intercom, Teams, Jira, Linear, monday.com and Asana integrations. Enterprise is custom with unlimited boards, SAML and OIDC, SCIM and a 99.9 percent uptime SLA.
Where it falls short: Every plan includes unlimited users, unlimited content and unlimited admins, which is genuinely unusual and worth the premium for a public board. The catch is that boards, not people, are the meter - one board on Essential is a hard wall for a product that wants separate boards per surface. There is also no free tier, only a 10-day Pro trial.
3. Productboard: Per Product Manager, Plus a Credit Budget
Productboard is the heaviest tool here: customer insights, prioritisation scoring, roadmaps and a customer-facing portal, wrapped around an AI layer called Spark.
Pricing: Free is $0 with 50 credits per month. Plus is $25 monthly or $19 per maker per month billed annually, with 250 credits per maker. Business is $75 monthly or $59 per maker per month billed annually, with 500 credits per maker and a two-maker minimum. Enterprise pricing is not published and starts at five makers.
Where it falls short: Makers are the product managers and leads who own strategy - contributors and viewers do not count toward the limit, which is a real advantage over per-seat pricing. But credits are the second meter, and they run out faster than people expect: analysing a hundred feedback items consumes roughly 30 to 50 credits, while writing a full specification can take 50 to 200. Top-ups cost $5 for 50 credits on monthly plans.
4. Fibery: Per User, With Read-Only Seats Free
Fibery is a connected workspace rather than a feedback board - it tries to replace the product wiki, the sprint board and the feedback tracker with one database-backed tool.
Pricing: Solo is $0 forever for one user, with 90 days of version history and 5 read-only users. Standard is $10 per user per month billed annually, with unlimited read-only users. Pro is $17 per user per month billed annually and adds unlimited version history, group permissions, SAML and SSO, and removal of Fibery branding from forms. Annual billing saves 15 percent.
Where it falls short: The product is powerful and the setup cost is real - Fibery asks you to model your own processes, which is exactly the work most teams buy a tool to avoid. Read-only seats being free is generous, but the people who need to write are the expensive ones, and a team of ten writers at the Pro rate is a four-figure annual line item.
5. Height: The First Ten People Are Free
Height positions itself as autonomous project management, with AI handling triage, deduplication and stale-task closing rather than acting as a chat assistant bolted onto a board.
Pricing: Basic is $0 for up to 10 members, then $8 per additional member per month, with two teams, 1,000 active tasks, unlimited free guests and 50 MB per file upload. Core is $15 per member per month with a 30-day trial, five teams, unlimited active tasks and 100 MB files. Business is $24 per member per month with unlimited teams and 1 GB files. Enterprise is for organisations of 500 or more.
Where it falls short: Ten free members is the most generous entry point on this list, but the eleventh person changes the shape of the bill - $8 per head past the line means a twelve-person team pays $16 and a twenty-person team pays $80. The 1,000 active task cap on the free plan is also a quiet ceiling for anyone who actually runs sprints.
How to Choose
Read the meter backwards into the product. If you are paying per tracked user, the tool thinks its value is the size of your customer base - good for a public-facing board, expensive for a B2B product with few but loud users. If you are paying a flat rate for unlimited users, the tool thinks its value is exposure - good when you want the whole internet to vote, less relevant when only twelve customers matter.
The two meters that surprise teams are Productboard's credits and Height's eleventh member. Both are invisible in the headline price and both are the number that actually moves the bill. Before committing to either, estimate your monthly AI usage in credits, and count the people who will need write access rather than the people who exist.
